Long Island Cheese Pumpkin

Long Island Cheese Pumpkins are a very long storing Heirloom pumpkin grown for centuries by Indigenous persons of the Northeastern U.S. and by early European settlers into modern times. It is a close cousin to the Butternut Squash an its uses are very similar. Eat as a roasted vegetable, use it for delicious pie filling, for soups, custards, curries, and any other way you typically use Butternut squash.
