Maple Syrup

Our Maple Syrup is made the traditional way from the sap of Sugar, Silver, and Red Maple trees on forests adjoining our farm. Here in Kentucky, we tap our maple trees in late December or early January. The freezes of winter pull water up into the tree, and warm weather pushes the sap out of the tree into our collection buckets. The sap is collected by hand, and cooked batch-style on our wood-fired evaporator. It took 4 gallons of sap to make a half-pint of syrup. Please note that our Maple Syrup is not Certified Organic. Store in a cool, dry location. Refrigerate after opening. Pack date written on cap. Not for Resale.
