Purple Top Turnips
These are a classic spicy turnip for boiling, roasting, mashing, using in soup, etc... They are called Purple Top Turnips, because the upper portion of the turnip that protrudes from the ground has a purplish tinge, while the underground portion is a pure white. They are currently they are succulent and tender, probably even tender and mild enough to use raw in a salad. Store in your fridge for 3-4 weeks.
